We are proud to present the FAR AND WIDE Sailing Yacht. All state of the art technologies have been used to build this new luxurious Southern Wind 100′ (over 30m) deck house sloop.

The yacht was launched in June 2007 in the SWS shipyard of Cape Town. The class of water line and the high sailing performances are the result of the willingness of the owner and the cooperation of the best suppliers in their market.

Naval Architecture: Farr Y. Design.
Concept, Interior design and Exterior styling: Nauta Design. High performance hull made in Carbon/Kevlar and Epoxy resin.
Materials: Composite (Carbon fibre, Kevlar and Epoxy resin) sandwich – Sail area: 424 sqm.

FAR AND WIDE sailing yacht offers accommodation in “grand comfort” for eight guests including a large saloon with 360° sight and dining area. Owner studio forward with direct access to the full beam master double bed cabin and to the VIP double bed cabin, aft ward two twin guest’s cabins – all cabins with en-suite shower room and modern audio visual system. Aft independent crew quarter for 4 persons with 3 cabins with heads, wide galley, crew mess and chart table.

The yacht is fully equipped with all modern navigation instruments and toys: a 4.30 mt Novurania + outboard engine 60HP Yamaha, water-ski, wakeboard, banana, donut, 2 kayak.

Audio visual equipment and deck facilities include 5 TV, saloon 32’’, Owner cabin 26”, Guest cabin 17”), Sat antenna for TV, Stereo/CD/DVD, large bimini top over “Al fresco area”, separate bimini over steering station and hidraulic swim platform.
